Thank You! Love from Kathy

A package was waiting for me when I arrived in Japan last month.  Kathy from Mai-Kat Oshaberi had said she wanted to send me one brush.  Of course, I ended up being OVERWHELMED by her generousity!
Sonia Kashuk Brush Couture Flat Top Multipurpose Blush/Powder Brush

I squealed when I first saw this online and I squealed again to see it in person! I love using this brush for liquid foundation.  The handle is very pretty! A review is coming up!

Sonia Kashuk Blusher Brush

This is a fantastic brush.  I wonder how Kathy knew I was having trouble finding a good blusher brush?  This is SO MUCH better than my MAC 129. A review is coming up for this brush as well!

Neutrogena Makeup wipes
Kathy and I share our love for these wipes!

Amore Pacific samples

I really like Altoids.  I use the empty cans to hold my bobby pins and earrings!

Clarisonic brush in delicate

I was SO surprised to see this at the bottom of the package!
Wow, thank you so much, Kathy!!
Again, thank you SO much for your generosity.  I’m looking forward to seeing you again, hopefully in Japan some time!

Thank You! Love from Sarah

When I was in Japan last month, Sarah sent me the earrings that I had asked her to make for me.  I ordered them a while ago, but due to my move, she wasn’t able to send them for a while.  I am so glad that she could send them to my hotel in Japan!

Gold wire-wrapped crystal baroques

I swooned when I saw these in person.  They go with everything I wear!  Thank you so much, Sarah!!!

Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder
I got this from Sarah’s blog sale.  I love using this powder, and I’ve written a review of it previously.

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
This really makes a huge difference!  Unfortunately, it costs about $25 in Japan.

Sarah is a sneaky girl… As usual, her package contained A LOT of extras!!!!!!

A cute pair of white and gold earrings
These are also extremely versatile!  I love them!!

Wet ‘n Wild Color Icon palette in Lust and Vanity
I’m itching to try these after MONTHS of reading about them on beauty blogs!!

L’Oreal De-Crease and NYC Lip Slider

Thank you again, Sarah!!!

Happy 2nd blogversary!!!

Today is the 2nd blogversary for Cosmeddicted!

Thank you so much for all of the love and support that you have given me and this blog over the past 2 years.

Over the past 2 years…

  • There have been over 250 posts and more than 50 reviews.
  • More than 65,000 page views in the 8 months since changing this blog’s name to Cosmeddicted
  • I’ve met up with more than 20 other bloggers (and 4 significant others) in 9 different cities in 5 different countries
  • I’ve been very fortunate to meet with 5 bloggers more than once (Mona, Eve, Jamilla, Nic, and Brianna)!

(You may be surprised that I have only 50 reviews. This means that I average one review a month.  Surprisingly, there were several months in 2009 and the beginning of 2010 when I did not write reviews!)

The best part of blogging is networking with everyone.  Thank you to all of you who have commented, emailed, tweeted or chatted with me.  Your love and support have made Cosmeddicted possible!

Thank you again for your love, and hopefully we will be able to continue!

xoxo, K

Thank you! Meet up with Mai-Kat Oshaberi

While in Hawaii, I also met up with Kat & Mai of Mai-Kat Oshbaberi.

Hime-chan, Kat’s cat.  Picture from Mai-Kat Oshaberi

Kat picked me up at my hotel and I had such a fabulous time with her!  I got to see her work place and I was AMAZED at her knowledge of flowers.

We met up with Mai for lunch and that was so much fun as well.  Mai and Kat have known each other since they were 4 years old!!!!

I even got to spend the night at Kat’s house!  I met her family as well, and they were all very kind people.  We had a good laugh about how vague and confusing Japanese is (for example, Japanese people will often drop the subject of a sentence.  You are supposed to “know” who/what they are talking about from the content!)

Kat even gave me a love pack!  I know for SURE that I’m missing some pictures… I’ll post some more when I find them…

A ton of Neutrogena Makeup Remover wipes.
These are not available in Asia!
I love these for nights when I’m too tired to take off my makeup properly!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in White
Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer
Mauna Loa Butter Candy Glazed Macadamia Nuts
OH DEAR.  These nuts were SOOOO yummy.
I should NOT have opened them!!!

EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone 5 pc Bag & Brush Set
I’m excited to try this brush set.
I tried a different travel brush set from another brand on this trip.  The review for that set is coming up!
My Beauty Diary masks

Kat’s husband asked me if I like Natto.  Natto is a slimy, smelly Japanese food product made from soy beans.  I’ve often seen it on “gross food lists” next to balut.  And yes, I do like it, since I grew up eating it.  I have officially become the 9th member of the Hawaii Natto Club!
I had never tried the Natto MBD mask.  Knowing what Natto is like, I was afraid that it would be slimy and sticky!  Now I’m excited to try it!

Paul & Joe makeup pouch with state quarters!!!
Jello instant pudding

As you know, I collect state quarters. Thanks to Kat, my collection is almost finished!  Wuzzy gave me some as well.  Thank you SO MUCH to both of you!!

Thank you again to Kat for being so INCREDIBLY kind to me.  I had a fantastic time!  I hope we can meet again soon!!!
