Review: Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator in 300 Peach Light

This is a review of the Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator in 300 Peach Light. This product is a liquid highlighter, and was first released as part of a limited edition collection a few years ago. It has since been made permanent.  Revlon Skinlights Peach Lights

What it does: (from the Revlon website)

The iconic skin illuminator is now better than ever. Banish dullness and even out skin with light capturing crystals and photochromatic pigments for a lit-from-within look.

Price: The price will vary depending on where you buy it. Target lists this for about $12.

Availability: This and other Revlon products are widely available in the US at drugstores and supermarkets. Revlon is probably one of the most widely available brands in the US!

Swatch: The product itself comes in 4 different colors. This one is a pinky peach color.

Pros:

  • I like to apply product to the apples of my cheeks as a cheekbone highlight. It goes well with many blushes
  • This product is a liquidy consistency, and spreads well with a small amount of product.

Cons:

  • This product is obviously very peachy, so I don’t think it would work as a highlight on other parts of the face
  • I found this product to be too liquidy to apply on top of blush, so I wear it underneath and apply a blush on top

Would I repurchase? Maybe.  I was very excited about this product, and while I like the color, I now believe that a powder highlight would work better on my cheeks.

Hope you enjoyed this review!
