Every so often, as I watch a beauty review on Youtube or read a beauty blog, there is a product that I start to want to NEED. Many times, it doesn’t live up to the hype. In fact, there are even Youtube videos dedicated to “Youtube made me buy it!”. When I heard about the ELF Small Stipple Brush, I originally was not interested. I’ve tried ELF brushes before, and I haven’t found one that I felt was good enough to recommend. But… this one was $3, and it was looking at me from the display at Target… so I bought it.
What it does: (from the ELF website)
Use the Small Stipple Brush to create soft layers by adding texture for a natural airbrushed result. The two layers of bristles create ultimate control from sheer to heavy coverage for small and hard to reach places. Ideal with liquid, cream or powder products, foundation, concealer, and cream blush.
Availability: ELF products are available on the ELF website and select drugstores. The ELF website has a store locator for more info.
- This brush is actually quite soft! It is not scratchy against my cheek.
- I like to use this brush for blending cream blushes and highlighters, which it does a good job at doing.
- The price!
- I’m not going to lie – I don’t think this brush is going to last very long. I’ve read reviews that say that some of the hairs have started to fall out after a year or so. To be honest, I feel like this is the case with many drugstore brushes, and at this price, I’m OK with repurchasing it.
Would I repurchase? Yes. If you are a newbie with cream blushes (which I LOOOVE during the warm weather), I definitely suggest you pick up this brush!
Hope you enjoyed this review!
