Review: Lush Reincarnate Solid Shampoo

This is a review of the Lush Reincarnate solid shampoo. This is one of the things I purchased in a haul which I posted before, and is not available in Japan or the US.

What it does: (from the Lush UK website)
Brunettes and redheads, step this way! Reincarnate is specially made to put life and shine into dark hair, making it look healthy and bursting with rich, natural-looking colour. Whether you’re a natural brunette or need a little assistance to go over to the dark side, Reincarnate is the shampoo to choose to keep your colour looking vibrant.

Price: around $8 for 100g.  This lasts me 6 to 8 weeks.

Availability: This product is only available through Lush UK online, or at select Lush UK stores

Scent:  smells earthy, similar to rosemary.  Unlike many Lush products, this does not have a strong smell and I need to intentionally sniff it to smell it.

Pros:

  • This is one of the few Lush solid shampoos that does not strip my hair or make it feel squeaky
  • Although this contains henna, it rinses clean and does not bleed onto my towels

Cons:

  • I don’t know if it really my hair color to look vibrant

Would I repurchase? Maybe. Other bloggers have mentioned that this made their hair feel straw-like, which did not happen for me. I like that it rinses clean and does not strip my hair, but I really didn’t feel that it did much.

Hope you enjoyed this review!

xoxo, K
