Review: Bath and Body Works Coconut Lime Breeze

This is a review of the Bath and Body Works Coconut Lime Breeze shower gel and body lotion.  This is one of the many bath products that I found in my stash after I came back to Japan.

What it does: (from the Bath and Body Works website)
Tropical With A Twist! Coconut Lime Breeze is a fresh mix of coconut water & lime blossom
Top Notes: Sparkling Tangerine, Lemon Italy Orpur, Neroli, Bergamot Italia Orpur, Zesty Lime Juice
Mid Notes: Watery Melon notes, Sheer Muget, Pineapple Juice, Jasmine Petals, Lime Blossom
Dry Notes: Sheer Coconut Water, Sandalwood, Musk, Madagascar Vanilla

Scent: Straight out of the bottle, this product smells of coconut and lime.  The coconut scent is quite sweet and reminds me strongly of the beach. When this product dries down, the vanilla scent is predominant.

Price: Full sized Bath and Body Works shower gels/body lotions are $11, while travel sized products are $5.  Bath and Body Works has some kind of sale on usually, so definitely don’t buy it at the full price!

Pros:

  • The lime scent does a good job in toning down the sweet coconut/vanilla scent
  • Bath and Body Works shower gels and body lotions are quite consistent in quality, regardless of the scent

Cons:

  • This scent could get quite cloying in the summer

Would I repurchase? Maybe. I usually avoid all sweet scents, but this is lighter than most.

Hope you enjoyed this review!

xoxo, K
