Long time readers of my blog will know that I am a fan of Bath and Body Works. I buy some products each time that I’m in the US. While I have a few favorite scents, I also like to try new ones. Recently, I have been very interested in their Aromatherapy line, such as the Sleep Lavender Chamomile scent which I reviewed before. This is a review of the Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Energy Orange Ginger scent. As usual, I purchased the travel size shower gel and body lotion.
What it does: (from the Bath and Body Works website)
Boost your energy. Orange and Ginger essential oils are uplifting to release tension and sharpen the senses. This fast-foaming body wash is infused with soothing skin conditioners. For an energizing bubble bath, add a couple of ounces to warm, running water. Our special formula contains precious botanicals – White Birch and Bamboo extracts are known to purify and soothe skin while Pearl Powder helps condition skin.
$5 for 2 fl oz (travel size), or $13 for 6.5 oz (full size). Bath and Body Works almost always has some kind of discount going on, so I always suggest getting them on sale.
This product smells primarily like oranges. The scent is different from citrus cleansers (which is fantastic). After it dries down, the ginger scent becomes more apparent.
- I personally really, really like the scent. I use this scent in the evening, because I feel that it helps clear my head. It would probably be a great scent for a morning shower.
- This is a light moisturizer, which is very good for the weather where I live. In a colder, drier climate, I would recommend a heavier moisturizer.
- Like I mentioned in the previous review, I don’t like that the full size products come in acrylic bottles. I don’t like acrylic bottles for shower products since I am afraid of dropping and breaking them.
Would I repurchase? Yes! I’m still interested in trying out other scents from this line.
Hope you enjoyed this review!
