Review: Lush Dirty Springwash shower gel
How is it that I always have some Lush products to review? I moved to Indonesia 6 months ago, and Lush isn’t available here. Yet, somehow, I still have a stock of Lush products to review!
“Dirty” is a line of products that Lush produces, from soap and shower gels to hair cream and perfumes. Lush usually focuses on stand alone products, so it is quite rare that they have several different products with the same name. This time, I picked up the Dirty Springwash shower gel.
Out all night up to no good? Good on you. When it’s time to clean up your act and jolt yourself back to reality, have a wash with our tingly spearmint shower gel. Like a refreshing dip in a mountain spring, Springwash was invented for Dirty guys (and girls) everywhere. Spearmint and menthol crystals make your skin feel cool in a hot shower – you’ll feel fresher and ready to go in no time! As well as cleaning you up, there’s added glycerin and sea salt to soften your hair and skin while you’re washing up from last nights activities.
4.45 GBP/100g in the UK, $9.95/3.3 in the US, 900JPY/100g in Japan
Scent: this product smells minty. However, the scent is surprisingly not strong.
- If the scent of Lush products is too strong for you, this may be a good product to try out
- This is a normal shower gel from Lush. Although it is not especially moisturizing, it is not harsh or drying. I would recommend this in warmer weather.
- I expected a stronger minty scent, if the product claims to make me feel cool. In Japan, there are some products that really make you feel cold from the strong menthol.
- I personally felt that this did not work for me to use on my hair
Would I repurchase? No.
I was surprised at how boring this product is considering its popularity! Did I miss something? Should I try something else in the Dirty line?
Hope you enjoyed my review!
