I’M BACK IN JAPAN.
As my mother likes to tell me, it will take me some time to get used to being back in Japan. Several people at work have also warned me that I will have “reverse culture shock”. I’m sure of that – although I’m back to my old work place, my job itself has changed, and a lot of things have changed at work.
One of the main focuses for me will be getting my health back, both mentally and physically. I’m planning on spending as much time as possible walking, including to and from work. Luckily, the autumn is the best season in Japan for being outside.
Thank you to all of the people who have supported me over the past 2 years! It was a great experience, but I couldn’t have done it without all of my friends!!
On to my Ups and Downs!
- Being able to drink tap water, breathe fresh air, and eat raw produce
- Living in a big city
- Buying new things to try out, especially from Muji and Daiso. Look for reviews soon!
- NONE. Maybe you’ll hear my reverse culture shock stories in a month!
How was your September?
