Products I have repurchased – Makeup

I was planning on doing a Favorites list for the first half of 2011, just like I did last year.  To change it up a little bit, I went through the products I’ve reviewed since I began blogging, and here is a list of products I have actually repurchased.

I also have a page listing all the products I’ve reviewed before. I am in the process of updating it to show which products I would repurchase.  You can also request a review of products through this page or through twitter.

On to the list! (links go to the reviews for each product)

Makeup
Barry M Dazzle Dusts part 1 & part 2
I love the Barry M Dazzle Dusts so much!  Pressing them makes them so easy to use.  They are vibrant and very pigmented.

-VOV Castledew Watershot Foundation part 1 & part 2
This foundation feels so light on my skin and still gives me enough coverage!

Maybelline the Colossal Volum Express Mascara
This mascara met my two main criteria: it gave me great volume and didn’t smudge under my eyes! This is the only product in this post that I have actually not repurchased yet. I’m sure Maybelline will come out with another mascara before I get to hit a US drugstore!

Rimmel Fix & Perfect Foundation Primer
This was a great base for my foundation and a great alternative to silicone-based primers. A word of caution though – other bloggers have mentioned it made their foundation oxidize.

Skinfood Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder
This is very similar to the MUFE HD powder, and it controls oil very well.  This is a staple in my makeup routine.

That’s all for the makeup! Stay tuned for the skin care products I would repurchase!

xoxo, K

  1. I like this idea of products you repurchase, we see too many regrets and failures that its nice to see this positive spin!
I am curious about the dazzle dusts but I am not too keen on loose eye shadow…they do look pretty though!

  2. The MUFE HD powder is just pure silica powder.  You can get it online at several different places for a whole lot less than you would spend at MUFE.

  3. I decided to do this post because a lot of people say that products are good or bad, but the real test is whether you repurchase it or not!
