London Day 2 – Bike tours

On my last trip to London, I went on a bike tour with Fat Tire Bike Tours.  As I said in my post last year, I think bike tours are a great way to explore London.   I was so happy to see that Fat Tire Bike Tours is now offering a new tour called the River Thames Tour.  I was lucky enough to get beautiful weather!

The London Eye
This is the world’s largest Ferris Wheel that is only supported on one side.

Near Embankment

South Bank

Shakespeare’s Globe

London Bridge
(Yes, as in the children’s song…)
We had lunch at Borough Market
This meat pie was delicious!

Fish & Chips

We crossed over the Tower Bridge to the Tower of London
I got a much better picture on this day!
Later that night, I met up with Yinnie, Jamilla, Eve, and Jess who was in town!
I don’t have any pictures of us together, but I do have pictures of the wonderful food we had!!

Red Velvet cupcakes that Eve made!  Delicious!!

We went to eat Malaysian food.  Very good!

Thanks for a great evening!

  1. I think cycling is a great way to see a city, and running, too! I cycled through Kyoto and Nepal and I loved it. You can pack in more places in a day plus get your blood pumping and earn the numerous calories you consume during a holiday.;-)

  2. Lovely pictures of London! Your food looks so delicious. It has made me hungry again. I don’t think that I would have survived a bike tour. I probably wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes. I’m in awe of you!
